KAI’EHITU RECREATIONAL PADDLING PROGRAM
Overview

Aloha and welcome to Kai’Ehitu Outrigger Club
Kai’Ehitu Outrigger Canoe Club offers recreational paddling each weekday morning at the Kamakahonu Beach, next to the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel. Free parking is available in the community
parking lot accessible by Kuakini Hwy or Ali’i Dr.
At Kai’Ehitu Outrigger Canoe Club we strive to share the spirit of Aloha, as well as our love for Hawaii and paddling. Our focus is safety, enjoyment, physical and mental health benefits, learning about the culture
and our club history, that of the Kimitete family.
Recreational paddling is available to all club members, who are registered and have paid their dues for the current year. We meet Monday through Friday, all year round (January 1 st through December 31st) . We do not have prior sign up for seats, they are assigned first come first served, and you are encouraged to arrive earlier, rather than later. Paddles are available to new paddlers for daily use, however, paddlers are expected to eventually purchase their own.
